American Heart Month: Reach Out and Make a Heartfelt Touch to Patients in February

Take heart: as a nation, we are making enormous progress in the battle against cardiovascular disease and stroke, with a 30% decrease in death rates in the last decade, according to the CDC. One of the primary drivers noted is an increased awareness of healthy living strategies among all segments of the population.  For physicians, this represents an ideal opportunity to reach out to their patients with education, information, and a renewed focus on their personal wellness plans. At Specialdocs, we created a distinctive new program to help our physician-clients accomplish this easily and inexpensively, with a package of offerings that includes:

  • A postcard mailer featuring helpful tips on healthy eating from the American Heart Association (AHA) www.heart.org
  • Website posting with valuable information on heart disease and prevention
  • Expert guidance on how to plan and promote Heart Month events for patients and community members

We are committed to fully supporting the AHA in its role of prevention at the frontlines. As the organization so succinctly states: “We understand what causes 90 percent of heart attacks and strokes and we need to do an even better job of avoiding those risk factors in the first place.”
