In the midst of a tumultuous healthcare environment, more physicians are turning to alternative practice models, including concierge medicine, in order to remain independent.

For “Special Doc” Caroline Stratz, MD, rushed, shorter appointments, increased regulation and the loss of time needed to sustain her most valued high quality physician-patient relationships compelled her to make a practice change.

“I have decided to enter the world of concierge medicine, where patients are truly at the center of care.
