Happy Ten Year Anniversary to us! Over the past decade, so much has changed in health care. Initially, the concept of concierge medicine was perceived as a fad. Now it is accepted as a viable ever-growing practice option for physicians and patients. When we first spoke with patients, the vast majority had never heard of concierge medicine. Many patients were irate, confused and troubled, and we had to explain the benefits of proactive personalized care. It was a new concept for patients to understand that together with their doctor, they could make a difference in how good they felt and how well they lived their lives.
